They could’ve just turned on the TV, but no, they decided to get creative. They scavenged around and found some ping-pong paddles and a wiffle ball, and just like that, a new game was born on their badminton court.
These guys didn’t stop there. They started tweaking the rules, probably over a couple of beers. They brought in their buddy, Barney McCallum, because the more, the merrier, right? Together, they crafted the first pickleball paddles because why not? They probably didn’t realize they were making history in Pritchard’s backyard.
