In a game-changing move for content creators, TikTok is expanding eligibility for its premium content feature, Series, to a larger number of users. This development paves the way for creators to tap into a new revenue stream by offering exclusive, high-quality content to viewers.

Eligibility Requirements:

To join TikTok Series, creators must meet the following criteria:

  • Age: 18 years or older
  • Account: At least 30 days old
  • Content: 4 or more public videos posted in the last 30 days
  • Views: At least 1,000 “authentic” video views in the last 30 days
  • Followers: 10,000 or more

Creators with less than 10,000 followers who meet the other eligibility criteria can still apply by providing a link to premium content previously sold on other platforms via TikTok’s Creator Center.

Background and Features:

Originally announced earlier this year, TikTok Series allows creators to produce and sell exclusive content on the platform. With this feature, a Series can include up to 80 videos, each up to 20 minutes long. Creators are empowered to set their own prices for their content, ranging from $1 to $190, with all content in a TikTok Series hidden behind a paywall.
